The Locker Ban
Not having lockers is unfair. The reasons for not having lockers are unsatisfying to me and everyone else. Most students are not thickheaded as those who do break the rules and bring items they should not have and hide it in their locker. Lockers are good for storing books, supplies, and anything else someone would need for school. This can also solve the problem with hurting backs and having to lug around a big bag full of books. Also if a student forgets a homework that includes the classes textbook they could just take it out of their locker. For example, near the beginning of the year, freshmen year, I had an assignment for Geometry and had forgotten to do it and at the time the library was still closed and I ended up not turning in the assignment that day. It may have not hurt my grade by a lot, but it still was supposed to be done. There were some other mistakes like that later in the year. Having lockers help students with organization and they almost never lose a thing thanks to the durability and the protection it gives to students belongings.
