Description - Watermelon

On a hot summer day you should enjoy a watermelon. This thirst-quencher fruit is among the best. They can be grown in all countries and be found in any market throughout the year. The watermelon is always a good fruit to snack on any day.

Watermelon is a tender, sweet, quenching fruit. They can be round or in any spherical shape and feature thick rinds that are either spotted or striped. Watermelons always taste the best in summer when they are sweet and of best quality. It is an excellent source of vitamin C, vitamin A, and vitamin B6.


When you eat a watermelon you have a choice to eat it with or without the thick green rind. You also have a choice to cut it into any shape. For example, in the picture on the left you see a watermelon cut into many hearts to make it easier to eat. The inside of a watermelon is sweet, crunchy, juicy, and tender. It's red-pinkish color easily show the black or white seeds. You can choose if you would like a seedless watermelon if you don't want to deal with the trouble of spitting each seed out or swallowing them. Once you bite into the watermelon for the first time you can feel juice going in between your teeth giving you a slight shiver. You have to be careful with you eat it though so it won't stain your clothes. Watermelon is a great fruit to eat for a snack or to be healthy. You don't have to worry though, watermelon are in every local markets and are grown in many places so you will never run out!
