No iPods

A policy at Olympian High School which is one of the most commonly broken is, "No electronics". More specifically, no iPods. I can understand how listening to music during a lesson is disrespectful and unnecessary but what about other situations? Situations like running a mile in your P.E. class, taking a test in one of your classes, and even during independent studies. There would be less disruptions. The atmosphere would be more tranquil which I am pretty sure most teachers enjoy. Students find that listening to music calms them down and thus being more focused to do better in their school work. There wouldn't be any disturbances in the classroom, the atmosphere would be more calm, and leave the students to focus on their work more.
