A Musical Controversy

At Olympian, there is a rule that bans students from using their I-Pods and other electronic devices in class because teachers and staff believe that is a distraction. This true to an extent. However, I have found that this is something that should be rewritten, especially for the case of musical devices.
I have found that listening to music while working increases motivation and focus. This happens because it sets a comfortable atmosphere, one that people can find at their house. On the other hand, phones and game systems should only be allowed during periods where teachers permit their use.
