-No Gum Chewing

A policy at Olympian is NO GUM CHEWING! The no gum chewing rule is a rule that most people dont follow. The rule states that there is no gum chewing on campus. I think they should of known that people wouldn't follow that rule. The no gum chewing rule is a rule that is not enforced. Most teachers that I have don't enforce the rule. I know that people throw their gum on the floor, but if there wasn't a policy against it I think less gum would be on the floor. Most people throw their gum on the floor because they dont want to be caught chewing it. If gum chewing wasn't against the Olympian policy more people would throw away in the garbage. My opinion is that gum chewing shouldn't be against school policy because most people still go around chewing gum anyway. Gum chewing should be allowed at Olympian High School.
