Introduction Mark Antony

Mark Antony has been introduced to us in Act 1 of "The Tragedy of Julius Caesar" by William Shakespeare. He is a person who goes around nude in races and likes partying a lot. He is very oblivious of Cassius's devious wordplay and doesn't see or feel anything fishy going on with Cassius. From what I see, Mark Antony will play a big role to Caesar's downfall.

In William Shakespeare's play, "The Tragedy of Julius Caesar", holds a conspirator named, Cassius. Cassius was introduced in the play merely after Caesar leaves to his victory march on the course. Although Cassius is a senator and an acquaintance of Caesar, he shows such a manipulative and jealous vibe towards the other characters, especially Brutus. Cassius fears for Caesar's rule to be King and the privileges he would have. Unlike, the other conspirators, Cassius is the one who gathers those who are against Julius Caesar by manipulating them. It was not noticed at first but Cassius seemed to have a dark side to him, especially since he's very observent. Cassius does not want Caesar to be crowned King and hopes to bring him down while he still can.

Cassius

In the play "The Tragedy of Julius Ceasar" by William Shakespeare, Cassius is introduced to us. Cassius is a Senator who manipulates people to get what he wants. The reason he wants Julius Ceasar out of power is because he is jealous and thinks he does not deserve the crown to become king because he thinks Ceasar is just like everybody else. Cassius is trying to persuade Brutus to get on his side but he cant since brutus is dealing with his internal problems. He also very observing and superstitious. So far in the play he has recruited Casca to be on his side.

Mark Antony

Mark Antony so far has seemed very loyal to Caesar. He also seems like the fun party guy. But, he doesn't seem to be very perceptive when it comes to the suspicious character that is Cassius.

Cassius

In the the first act of the book " Julius Caeasar" by William Shakespeare we learn about the character of Cassius. He is trying to persuade Brutus to see that Caesar is a bad influence for Rome and that he should be taken off of power. The real reason thought why Cassius wants Caesar off power is because he is jelous he feels like he does not deserve the crown because he is just like anybody else. Cassius is also very observing and knows how to work his way with people to persuade them to doing what he wants.

Cassius is actually a smart guy and he also believes in free will over fate, and he is superstitious.

Mark Antony

Mark Antony is a loyal friend of Caesar's. In contrast to the self-disciplined Brutus, Antony is notoriously impulsive, pleasure-seeking and passionate rather than principled. He is very spontaneous and lives in the moment. He in a way he is carefree. He proves to be a dangerous enemy of Brutus and the other conspirators.

Cassius

In Act I of William Shakespeare's "The Tragedy of Julius Caesar", the character Cassius is introduced as a manipulative, jealous Roman senator of Julius Caesar. His character in the play plans to overthrow Caesar from his place on the throne of Rome; he believes that Caesar has no right to be king. As mentioned in Act I Scene II, Cassius and Brutus are having a conversation about Caesar; this is when Cassius starts to explain to Brutus, Caesar's friend and Roman politician, that Caesar should not be king. He does this by saying that Caesar is not the god that everyone thinks he is and telling Brutus of times when Caesar showed that he was mortal. For example, on line 111 of Scene II, Caesar drowned, and on lines 119-128, Caesar was sick and Cassius then called him a "sick girl". The play shows that Cassius is very persuasive in Act I Scene III. Cassius convinces Casca that the great storm is a sign, telling Cassius that he must remove Caesar from his place in Rome. Cinna arrives at the scene and Caesar also influences him and has him deliver fake letters from the people of Rome, which were actually written by Cassius, to Brutus that says Caesar is not fit to have the throne.

Cassius

In "The tragedy of Julius Caesar" by William Shakespeare , introduces one of the characters of the play,Cassius. Cassius is very persuasive and jealous type of character, his intention to get rid of Julius Caesar once and for all. First Cassius tries to start to convince Brutus to go against Caesar by telling him that Caesar is very powerful then slowly changes the subject and tells him that hes a girl. This shows that Cassius is very manipulated person by convincing Brutus.Cassius can be very clever trying to get people to go against Caesar.

Cassius

During the first act of William Shakespeare's tragedy, "Julius Caesar", the audience is introduced to a complex character named Cassius. Once a fellow soldier alongside Caesar, Cassius is a strong-willed man who believes highly in free will over fate. During Act I, he slyly turns his intention to persuading Brutus -a former soldier who is highly praised in Rome- and shifts his subject to honor, slowly bringing about the idea of Caesar being to power. This action clearly shows Cassius' keen skill to manipulate people. He is also an observant man who is able to read people through their actions. Through the first Act, the audience is easily able to interpret Cassius' desire: to annihilate Caesar and return the Roman Republic.

Cassius

In William Shakespeare's play "Julius Caesar", Cassius plays as one of the conspirators against Caesar's reign as the Roman dictator throughout Act 1, Cassius character is jealous, manipulative and conniving. Throughout the first Act, the points he had been making towards Brutus was not only detailed but he twisted Caesar's actions and turned him to appear as a weak person and therefore shows his jealousy.Cassius's manipulation towards Brutus can prove that he can easily alter people's views towards anything. He manipulated Brutus by first supporting the idea that we should honor Julius Caesar and gradually showed evidences on why Caesar does not deserve to rule the Roman Empire. Cassius is not only manipulative but he can also be very conniving. While persuading Brutus, he clearly stated that Brutus must save Rome from Caesar and claim the dictatorial rule because he knows how Brutus has a strong patriotism towards Rome. This shows that Cassius is very persuasive with many intentions and can turn everyone on his side if he knows the audience well enough to persuade them in ethical or emotional appeal.

Cassius

In Julius Caesar, the play, we are introduced to a jealous character Cassius. In the beginning of scene one Cassius tries to persuade Brutus into turning against Caesar. Cassius shows that he is a smart person that knows how to play with peoples' emotions. He really shows hatred towards Caesar because he first starts by grabbing Brutus' attention by first speaking good about Caesar, then he be-little's him and makes him look bad. He talks about certain events when Caesar looked weak and needed help and how Cassius was there to help him. Overall Cassius is a manipulative person that can mold people into thinking certain things. We also figured out that he is a very superstitious person.

cassius

We just began reading Julius Caesar in my english class. And yeah even though we just started reading, Cassius is one of my favorite characters. He is basically the villian of the story. he is my favorite because he knows what he wants and he is good at getting what he wants. He has strong character traits, but his jelousy and ambition towards Julius Caesar reflects his cleverness in a negative way. He uses a manipulative - indirect way to convince his other colegues. He is smart enough to starts by convincing the most honored and friend to Caesar, who could make his job easier after convincing Brutus. he convinces him by transition from one subject to a complete subject, kind of confusing Brutus then by making Brutus feel subconscious about Caesar and guilt for Rome. so

Julius Caesar

In the play, Julius Caesar is a general who appears to be very ambitious. From what we read, he is also very superstitious because he asked Antony to touch his wife in hope that she would become fertile. As Cassius tries to persuade Brutus, he claims that Caesar has no right to be king over anyone else by sharing anecdotes of him both drowning and becoming sick. Julius Caesar wanted people who were content with what they already had rather than people like Cassius who sought power. According to the character foil, he seems to be very observant and is less naive than Antony. Julius Caesar was offered the crown three times but rejected all of them, which was probably to win the crowd.
