People plagiarize because they are either to lazy to do their homework or they have so much homework that they forgot to do it. Plagiarism is a big deal in both highschool and college. In highschool the penalty for plagiarism is an F in citizenship for that semester, saturday school, and they notify your parents. In college if you get caught plagiarizing, your expelled. If you get expelled from college for plagiarism, your probably not going to get accepted to another college.Getting expelled from college could ruin your dreams.The consequences for plagiarizing is bad in highschool but even worse in college.
