I would never want anyone to get the credit for my work, so I would never take the credit for another persons hard work. To plagiarize someone's work is wrong and I would never turn to that as a valid option. If I could not get something done for school I would own up to it and get it done as soon as possible even if it isn't very good I would know that I tried my best at the assignment and did what I could.
