Hurricane Irene


Hurrican Irene was a powerful atlantic hurricane that struck the US east coast and left severe damages. A total of 65 million were reported to be at risk as the hurricane was about to hit. This hurricane left many buildings in ruins, created floods, and destroyed many peoples homes. Hurricane irene caused 980,760 people without power because of its aftereffects. Many people were without electricity power for a while and utility workers were forced to work restore the power. This natural disaster has affected many americans in the east coast by losing their homes and having many of their belongings destroyed.
