Hurricane Irene
Recently, along the entire East Coast, the infamous Hurricane Irene has done plenty physical damage. Economic affliction was also a result of this natural disaster. States such as Maine, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, and Virginia have been affected negatively in the aftermath of the ten-foot-tall waves. About 45 deaths have been recorded. Various buildings were wrecked and streets were flooded. Many people lost their electricity for a couple of days. The basements of houses were flooded. There is about $300,000 worth of damage on the East Coast.
