Hurricane Irene Diego Florez
Hurricane Irene is a tropical storm headed toward the east coast and parts of Latin America that was predicted to have devestating affects. People all along the east coast planned for the worst by setting up barriers, stocking up on food, and other things that would ensure the safety of them and there family. After Irene hit the east coast many building and roads were destroyed and flooded. People are forced to salvage any food they can find and hope for the best, many familys have even lost there homes like the ones pictured. Even though the effects of hurricane Irene are horrible and sad, The effects are still not as bad as Hurricane Katrina that tore up New Orleans in 2005
