Recently, we've experienced a blackout that affected Southern California, Arizona, and Mexico. It was caused by an employee that unplugged something on accident. It cost everyone lots of money that they may not be able to get back. I was watching TV when, all of a sudden, it cuts off. My mom thought maybe my sister forgot to pay the electricity bill, but she went outside and other people were saying their electricity wasn't working either. My mom and sister tried to get some candles from Vons, but the line was wrapped all around the store. We only had one candle and a glow stick. Our city depends on electricity a lot and without it, who knows what would happen.
