Hurricane Irene was a tropical storm that devastated most states in the east coast and countries in the gulf of Mexico. As I am from a country in the East coast, Maryland. I have family all over the east coast, and we contacted them to assure there safety. Houses and structures were heavily damaged as the storm passed by. Families left homeless and infrastructures damaged. With power out, flooded streets and rubble everywhere, the community should help rebuild there communities and re-boot there lives past this event. Prior to the storm, an earthquake struck the east coast, further weakening those before the hurricane.
