Hurricane Irene has caused 46 US deaths in its course in 13 states. There are about 2.5 million people without electricity. New Jersey ordered evacuation due to the rivers' dangerous flow in New Jersey and Connetticut. Irene also affected Dominican Republic, Haiti, and Puerto Rico.
