Vivid Picture

Cars. Cars are the things that make everyone happy. Cars can come in different shapes, sizes and colors. In my opinion cars with the two stipes in the middle or has a certain design on the side look cool. The car is a great invention that everyone uses to get from place to place.
The car is mainly used for driving but there are other features a car has. A car can be used to listen to your music and hear your favorite radio station. It can also be used to relax and go get In-n-Out. When you pick your car, you pick a car that is affordable but it has a uniqueness. Your kind of car could be anything between a cool looking lamborghini or a fast porsche. Cars are always evolving. For example, cars that are solar powered. They can't go as fast as a porsche but they don't us gas and they are green. I've always like cars since I was a kid. Cars are like dog, you want to keep it clean and you don't want it going away. In my opinion cars is something everyone should have so you wont have to walk or bike anywhere.

Description-Volleyball

Volleyball. The feeling of the ridges and stitches of a volleyball. Ever since I was a little kid, I played volleyballl for fun. Volleyball was always a part of me. The first time I held a volleyball, I had a passion to play the sport.

When I play, about to block a spike, I jump high, as if the sky was the limit, feeling the air rush pass me as I jump. I feel the energy from a hard-hitting spike as I block, later feeling a numbmess in my hands.

Volleyball isn't just a game, but a passion. I believe that people are born to play a sport, or born to do certain things, but Volleyball is one of them.

My books-Monique Geisen

The above pictures are pictures of my actual bookshelves that go around the perimeter of my ceiling
Running my fingers along the books' spines I finger each title knowing what happens in each story. Some short and some long each one interesting and delightful in their own way. Certain aspects of each story pop out at me. Each cover ragged from use. But as my mother used to say, "A ragged book is a loved book, it means you have read it too many times." I pick up a particularly beat up book, one of my favorites and leaf through the pages.
Words jump out at me, "Sorting, Magic, Wands, Abuse, Wizard, Oaf." Things that remind me of what the story is about. I put the book back on the shelf and smile. As I look at each book I am reminded of adventure, horror, mystery, romance, suspense, joy, and sadness. Some titles catch my eye, while others seem to fade into the background. The titles that stand out are books that Ive really enjoyed, like the Hunger Games, Pendragon, or City of Glass.
When you open a book life begins to fade away and stress almost seems to evaporate from your body. You relax into your favorite chair and curl into a blanket suddenly in a world of adventure. So far away from the stress of real life you can imagine anything and really place yourself in a characters shoes. When the character is happy, your happy, at a particularly exciting moment you become tense and your heart beat quickens, what will happen next? As you read you sink into the world of make believe.

Apples

My mom has always loved to buy apples for me when I was a little kid. She has always said, "They are very good for you, and nutritional." I loved to eat apples, and I still do love to eat them wherever I am. I also just love eating apples, they are delicious and they keep you strong and healthy.

There are different kinds of apples: the red ones, green ones, and the yellow ones. They green apples are sour and the yellow apples are sweeter than the red apples. The skin of the apples are tough and you may choke if you do not chew it up good. When you get to the inside, it becomes much more easier to chew and swallow.

When you first bite into an apple and taste it, it is very juicy. The green apples are sour and will sometimes make you twitch. The yellow apples are so sweet and will make you want to savor every bite. The red apples are a little combination of both, but more on the sweet side. It is a great snack to eat, because, not only are they good, they are healthy.

Cement III's - Amy Uyeda

I see it. I want it. I need it. There they are. The highly anticipated Cement III's, showcased a week early in the middle of Champ's. The bright red interior, the burnt orange tag, complimenting the sleek white, all packaged into the og box. What more could a person want?

January 21, 2011 and January 22, 2011. Two days I will never forget. It all started on Friday night. My mom drove my cousin Marcus and I to Westfeild Plaza Bonita. There we waited from 1:00 am to 6:00 am. Once six o'clock hit, everyone ran into the mall, all with the desire to be first in line. I ran after my cousin, who was a good fifty feet ahead of me. I usually despise running after anything other than a basketball, but for some reason, I was okay with it. After huffing and puffing, I finally realized that we were the first two people in line at Champs. Two by two, they started letting people into the store.

"Size seven, please." Are the exact words I spoke to one of the employees. As he walked out of the stalk room, my eyes were glued to the shoebox carried under his right arm. As he rang me up for $150.00, all I could think about was me walking around my house in them. Walking out the doors of Champs, I noticed I had a little pep in my step and a smile on my face. The anticipation, always ending with satisfaction. I will continue to camp out for new Jordan releases until I am physically unable to. I live for the whole experience over and over again.

My ballet shoes are nowhere as clean as these are but you get the idea. My ballet shoes are all black on the bottom with holes and scuff marks. They are suppose to be pink but at the moment mine are not. Most ballet shoes are leather but I prefer the canvas ones. Mine have two straps like the one in the picture but some have one strap across the front of the foot. I have to sew the straps on my new ballet shoes so I try not to go through them very quickly, but the canvas ones go twice as fast as the traditional leather ones. I use other shoes for different genres of dance but ballet shoes are by far the most comfortable.
When I first started to dance I quit after the first class because I did not like to wear the shoes. But now I have been dancing for 8 years and I love the shoes. My goal for the next year is to be on pointe or "toe shoes" as most people know them as.
