Cassius

In " The tragedy of Julius Caesar" by William Shakespeare the complex and manipulative character of Cassius is introduced. Cassius is a senator whose goal is to take down Caesar from the throne. He uses his words to play with other people's minds and to persuade them to join his plan of taking Caesar down. Cassius is cunning and stands quietly behind while he indirectly makes other people do the work for him. He knows everyones weaknesses and he uses this as a way of getting into their heads. Cassius is the main reason of Caesar's death.

Cassius

In the play, "The Tragedy of Julius Caesar," Shakespeare introduces a very important character, Cassius. Cassius is a Roman Senator who manipulates and deceives people to get what he wants. He is jealous of Julius Caesar and tries to persuade Brutus to help him with his plot, killing Caesar. Cassius is actually a smart guy and he also believes in free will over fate, and he is superstitious.

Mark Antony

Mark Antony is a loyal friend of Caesar's. In contrast to the self-disciplined Brutus, Antony is notoriously impulsive, pleasure-seeking and passionate rather than principled. He is very spontaneous and lives in the moment. He in a way he is carefree. He proves to be a dangerous enemy of Brutus and the other conspirators.

Cassius

In Act I of William Shakespeare's "The Tragedy of Julius Caesar", the character Cassius is introduced as a manipulative, jealous Roman senator of Julius Caesar. His character in the play plans to overthrow Caesar from his place on the throne of Rome; he believes that Caesar has no right to be king. As mentioned in Act I Scene II, Cassius and Brutus are having a conversation about Caesar; this is when Cassius starts to explain to Brutus, Caesar's friend and Roman politician, that Caesar should not be king. He does this by saying that Caesar is not the god that everyone thinks he is and telling Brutus of times when Caesar showed that he was mortal. For example, on line 111 of Scene II, Caesar drowned, and on lines 119-128, Caesar was sick and Cassius then called him a "sick girl". The play shows that Cassius is very persuasive in Act I Scene III. Cassius convinces Casca that the great storm is a sign, telling Cassius that he must remove Caesar from his place in Rome. Cinna arrives at the scene and Caesar also influences him and has him deliver fake letters from the people of Rome, which were actually written by Cassius, to Brutus that says Caesar is not fit to have the throne.

Cassius is very persuasive and jealous type of character, his intention to get rid of Julius Caesar once and for all. First Cassius tries to start to convince Brutus to go against Caesar by telling him that Caesar is very powerful then slowly changes the subject and tells him that hes a girl. This shows that Cassius is very manipulated person by convincing Brutus.Cassius can be very clever trying to get people to go against Caesar.

During the first act of William Shakespeare's tragedy, "Julius Caesar", the audience is introduced to a complex character named Cassius. Once a fellow soldier alongside Caesar, Cassius is a strong-willed man who believes highly in free will over fate. During Act I, he slyly turns his intention to persuading Brutus -a former soldier who is highly praised in Rome- and shifts his subject to honor, slowly bringing about the idea of Caesar being to power. This action clearly shows Cassius' keen skill to manipulate people. He is also an observant man who is able to read people through their actions. Through the first Act, the audience is easily able to interpret Cassius' desire: to annihilate Caesar and return the Roman Republic.

In Julius Caesar, the play, we are introduced to a jealous character Cassius. In the beginning of scene one Cassius tries to persuade Brutus into turning against Caesar. Cassius shows that he is a smart person that knows how to play with peoples' emotions. He really shows hatred towards Caesar because he first starts by grabbing Brutus' attention by first speaking good about Caesar, then he be-little's him and makes him look bad. He talks about certain events when Caesar looked weak and needed help and how Cassius was there to help him. Overall Cassius is a manipulative person that can mold people into thinking certain things. We also figured out that he is a very superstitious person.
